Picks Dogs and Conclusion all in one

Originaly posted 20 april 2007

This will be a fast post, just after the list, and a big one.

The Dogs of Euronext if viewed on their own didn't perform bad. However the benchmarks still beats the Dogs.

The Dogs returned 6,63% while the Euronext 100 did better with 8,2%. It looks like this isn't the way to go.

For this month I picked again only 1 stock, the Rolls-Royce Group. The name just atracts attention and it's results suited what I am looking for.

Beneath are the lists of my picks, virtual picks and the benchmarks.

Conclusion

I'm not doing bad, but the formula itself still beats me. I don't beat the benchmark all that much, the virtual stocks however return 3% or 4% more then the benchmark, I only do 0,5% or 1,5% better. I can only hope for some bad years on the stockmarket to see if my method pays of or not. If it doesnt, I will settle for beating the benchmark with 4 % a year!.
